What steps do you take to cancel Amica?

Step #1: Verify Your Renewal Date

Amica has six-month and one-year policies. Confirm which you have and when it will end. The renewal date will be on the documentation you have regarding your policy and you can also speak with your assigned insurance broker-agent.

The assigned agent will most likely direct you to Amica.com to view billing and policy information. You will need your account number, which begins with an N and can be found on billing statements.

You can also find your renewal date on your ID card, which can even be viewed on the Amica mobile app after you type in your Amica auto insurance login.

Step #2: Compare Auto Insurance Quotes

Before you outright cancel your policy, begin thinking about who you want to cover you for the foreseeable future.

Step #4: Cancel Your Amica Auto Insurance Policy

At a glance, what is Amica’s cancellation policy? There are different numbers to call for different forms of Amica insurance policies. In order to cancel an auto, home, marine, or umbrella policy you must call 800-242-6422.

If you need to cancel a life insurance policy, Amica requests you call the Amica car insurance phone number 800-234-5433 extension 89075.

Do not just stop paying for your policy. Should you do so, it will fall into cancellation status and you will be charged a nonrefundable cancellation fee.

Furthermore, if you cancel before the end of your policy term, you will be charged $25. It may be best to wait out your policy term and inform the agent that that is when you wish to cancel.

Step #5: Follow Up On Your Refund

Should you cancel your policy mid-term, you will be due for a refund for the portion of your policy you will not be using. Keep in mind still that you will be charged that $25 cancellation fee. Ask your agent how much the refund will be and when you will receive it.

If you don’t receive it by the time your agent said, call and check the status of the refund.
