I want to know the cheapest insurance policy other than the Allied Insurance Group. Is there any company which provide more cheap scheme than that?
There’s no single insurance company in the United States that provides the cheapest car insurance to every customer all the time; instead, you need to compare auto insurance quotes yourself. Auto insurance premiums change widely based on:
- Income and profession
- ZIP code
- Credit score
- Driving history
- Vehicle age, mileage, model, and value
- Other factors
Some insurance companies use hundreds of factors to determine your car insurance premiums. Some people will pay the cheapest car insurance premiums with GEICO, while others will find better rates with USAA or another provider.
Fortunately for you, comparing car insurance quotes online is easier today than ever before. In the ‘old days’, you had to call insurance companies individually or (gasp!) mail quote requests into different car insurance companies. Today, you can condense all of that work down into the span of a few minutes.
Start by entering your ZIP code online into a car insurance comparison website – like our own site. Based on your ZIP code, the car insurance comparison form will output car insurance companies currently serving your area, as well as the approximate rates provided by those companies.
Pick a few companies from the list, then complete an estimate on each individual website. Each car insurance company will ask you to provide basic biographical details about yourself. Then, using that information, the car insurance company will provide a customized quote.
Premiums Vary Widely Based on Age, Location, Driving History, and State Regulations
Keep in mind that car insurance companies vary widely based on your demographics. A male in his mid-50s with a clean driving history, for example, will pay lower car insurance rates than virtually any other driver, for example. Meanwhile, a 19-year old female tends to pay lower car insurance premiums than a 19-year old male, all things being equal.
It’s also important to remember that car insurance premiums can vary widely between states. You might have found the cheapest car insurance policy with a provider in one state, only to find that the provider is more expensive in other states. USAA might have the cheapest car insurance premiums for a driver in Wyoming, for example, but be a middle-of-the-road provider for drivers in Ohio. Insurance premiums can vary between states because of different insurance rules. Insurance companies in California, for example, put a particularly heavy emphasis on your driving history because they are forbidden from using certain demographic data to calculate premiums.
Take Advantage of Discounts
Above all, there’s one easy way to get the cheapest car insurance policy: take advantage of discounts!
Every car insurance company in America offers discounts. Some car insurance companies are prolific with discounts, offering discounts for bundling, good grades, certain professions, and other factors. Other companies charge consistently low rates across the board without offering specific discounts.
Some of the discounts available include:
Telematics Discounts: Telematics systems are tracking devices installed on your car temporarily. The insurance company monitors your driving habits, then uses this information to provide a customized rate. Safe drivers with average or lower-than-average monthly mileage can save up to 40% with telematics programs.
Good Grade Discounts: Students in high school or college may be able to enjoy good grade discounts for maintaining A or B+ averages.
Bundling Discounts: Many insurance companies in America offer bundling discounts, allowing you to save money when you buy multiple car insurance policies or a home insurance policy from the same provider.
Profession-Specific Discounts: Certain professions are associated with lower risk factors than other professions. Some insurance companies offer discounts to doctors, nurses, teachers, and engineers, for example. Other insurance companies offer discounts to soldiers and military personnel. Depending on your profession, you may be able to save 3% to 15% off the cost of car insurance.
Ultimately, getting the cheapest car insurance takes a bit of work. Research premiums online. Compare quotes from multiple providers in your area. Read through policies to make sure there are no ‘fine print’ restrictions or other potential problems. With a little bit of research and comparison today, you can save hundreds of dollars on car insurance every year.
