How does Safeco RightTrack work?

You must be a Safeco policyholder to apply for RightTrack. Once you’ve established a policy with Safeco, contact a Safeco agent about rewards through RightTrack. They will send you a telematics device to connect to your On-Board Diagnostic (OBD1/OB2) port. Download the Safeco RightTrack to your Android or Apple phone. You will need a SafeCo RightTrack login to access the features.

When your Safeco RightTrack telematics arrives, plug the device into the OBD port. Safeco RightTrack installation will be completed after the mobile app connects to the telematics. Once it’s in, the Safeco RightTrack device reviews your driving habits. After 90 days, the Safeco RightTrack program reviews your three-month report and issues a discount between five and 30 percent.

Does Safeco RightTrack monitor speed? Yes, speed is a factor in determining safety. If you often drive over the speed limit, it could hurt your chances for the RightTrack discount.
