How does Progressive Snapshot work?

Once you sign up to Snapshot, Progressive will send you telematics to plug into your On-Board Diagnostic (OBD1/OBD2) port. You’ll also need to download and install the Snapshot app.

The Snapshot mobile app will connect to the telematics and report your driving habits for the next 30 days. Progressive will begin to establish your discount by alerting you through the mobile app.
